Founder & DPT, Aman Abye
Dr. Aman Abye is a proud LA native and graduate of Los Angeles Unified School District. His youth was forged in athleticism and sportsmanship, leading him to the University of Pennsylvania where he helped the football team win back-to-back Ivy League championships and undefeated seasons. After earning a BA in psychology, Aman returned to LA, pursuing a career in professional football while teaching science, mentoring at-risk youth, and coaching high school football at his alma mater, Marshall High School.
In 2000, Dr. Abye enrolled in Temple University’s Doctorate of Physical Therapy program, excelling both in the classroom and on the field. He graduated at the top of his class in 2003, and afterward, returned to Los Angeles to begin his physical therapy career.
Dr. Abye’s diverse experience includes working with Olympians, professional athletes in the NBA, NFL, MLB, MLS, and UFC, as well as performers from Cirque du Soleil and Grammy and other award-winning performers in the entertainment industry. His wide-ranging expertise has shaped his unique perspective on performance and Performance Therapy, a platform aimed at clinicians, coaches, fitness professionals, and anyone focused on performance.
Aman opened the first Stay Ready Physical Therapy and Fitness clinic in Miracle Mile in 2006, and today, it has expanded to five locations, serving thousands of clients throughout the greater LA-area. Stay Ready PT not only promotes health, wellness, and education but also provides opportunities for physical therapy students, interns, and employees to grow in their education and careers. Dr. Abye's driving belief is: "Freedom to move means freedom to live."
Clinic Director & DPT, Assaf zoor
Passionate about health and wellness education, Dr. Assaf Zoor specializes in chronic pain, vestibular therapy, and orthopedics.
Born and raised in Israel, Assaf served three years in the military and competed internationally with the Israeli gymnastics national team. In 2009, he was recruited to the Temple University’s Division 1 men’s gymnastic team, graduating with a B.S. in Kinesiology and later as a Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2015.
At Temple, Assaf excelled as a scholar-athlete, earning the Hy Dervitz Award for academic excellence and leadership. He also participated in a dual DPT/PhD program, focusing on innovative technology for postural stability assessment, receiving the College of Public Health Research Fund Award.
Today, he continues his mission of educating others about optimal health and advancing the careers of PT students.
