As a freshmen and sophomore, Aman helped Penn’s football team achieve back to back ivy league titles (93′ and 94’). During his first 3 years the football team led the nation with a winning streak of 24 straight games. In 1997 Aman graduated from Penn with a Bachelors degree in psychology.
Immediately after graduation, Aman returned to Los Angeles where he pursued his dream of playing professional football while also teaching/coaching high school at his alma mater. He began his career in Los Angeles playing for the Avengers. While in the arena football league he also played in Richmond, VA and Philadelphia, PA. During his 5½ years in the arena league, Aman had the tremendous opportunity to travel all over the United States and make connections in the sports world that would eventually prove to be integral in his future development. In 2000, while playing outside of Philadelphia, Aman began the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Temple University. During the next three years, Aman would juggle a hectic schedule that included being a full time doctoral student as well as being large part of his arena football teams success.
Upon graduating with a doctorate degree in physical therapy, Dr. Abye would retire from football and return home to begin his new career as a health care professional. For the first 3 years he was part of a great rehab team in the heart of Beverly Hills. There he had the opportunity to learn about the field and grow professionally, grow professionally, while treating a wide variety clients ranging from the most highly active professional athlete to the most highly sedentary desk jockey. In October 2006, Dr. Abye branched out on his own and started Stay Ready Physical Therapy. Currently there are three clinics in the greater Los Angeles area: Miracle Mile, Brentwood, and South Bay. Coming soon, there will also be a fourth clinic that will serve the area in which Dr. Abye grew up, Atwater Village/Silver Lake. Today Dr. Abye remains very busy with his three clinics, coaching and mentoring inner-city youth, while also participating himself in many athletic activities.
There is a theme of diversity that defines Dr. Abye’s past via his life experiences. This is what allows him to create a healing environment that is welcoming to all.

Dr. Mark B. Tkaczuk is a 2nd generation American born and raised in the Ukrainian Village of Chicago, IL. Following high school, he attended the University of Illinois where he studied pre-veterinary medicine in hopes to one day take over the family practice (North Avenue Animal Hospital in Chicago that is currently being run by his father Roman). Mark graduated with high honors and also played for the University of Illinois Men’s Club Volleyball team for 3 years and helped the team win a NIRSA national championship his last year in 2009 where he was also the 2009 NIRSA national MVP.
After graduating, he decided to put his veterinary career on hiatus and instead pursue a career playing professional beach volleyball. Unfortunately one day while cross training in early 2010, Mark suffered a serious knee injury tearing almost every ligament in his knee. Following surgery he attended physical therapy on a regular basis where he was fortunate to have a great therapist who would ultimately help him return to the sport and lifestyle that he loved. Having experienced physical therapy from the side of being a patient, Mark grew a new love & passion for the profession. It was from that point on that he decided that he wanted to become a physical therapist to help rehabilitate others in similar fashion.
Over the next several months following his injury, Mark ambitiously took the necessary steps to apply for PT school and was accepted to the University of Miami Class of 2014 PT program. While getting his doctorate, he used his last year of collegiate eligibility to play for the University of Miami Men’s Club Volleyball team in 2013 where he helped the team win its first national championship ever; Mark made the 2013 All-American team that year.
Mark relocated to California in 2014 and began working for Stay Ready Physical Therapy shortly after the move. Later that year he became certified in Functional Movement Systems (FMS) levels 1 & 2 which he enjoys using to help people become more safe, efficient and functional with their body movements.
Outside of physical therapy, Mark still travels and competes in pro beach volleyball tourneys across the country. He also enjoys yoga, basketball, music, playing guitar and remains active in the Ukrainian-American community.
